Well this is the end of this course, and it’s time to evaluate it. In my opinion it’s very interesting this way to learn english. It’s more easy and makes you express what are you thinking better, because you can familiarize with this lenguaje.
Maybe I don’t learn a lot of english (referring to grammar, lexicon or syntax) but now I can talk and write more fluent.
I really like this experience, write in blogs it’s a enjoyable way to talk about our feelings, random themes and things that capture our attention. It’s easier to talk about things that we like and the atmosphere to work is really good.
Now, thinking again, writting blogs improve our strengths in english and lexicon.
I really don’t know what to speak about, this is my opinion about this course, but I only can say that I really enjoy it.
I hope that you (Miss Erika) can obtain the course that you apply for and to the other guys I hope that we can see us in English 4...
Now I have to eat my lunch and study a looooooooooooooot , but in happy because I get exempted  in the exam of psychology and now is the last class of english.... then holydays and relax (:

Mr. Stranger

Hi, do you see this picture? Yeah? …Well, I'm gonna tell the story about this guy:

First of all he wasn't a human, he was a Smurf (yes, believe it or not), the specifically the Dreamy Smurf (Schtroumpf Rêveur if you want to name him by his name or Astrosmurf called by his friends).

Astrosmurf was always dream about other places and different people (some inhabitants thank that Astrosmurf get high and eat too much mushrooms), but in fact, he was dreaming about our world.

One day when he felt so lonely and sad, he went to the crypt of Gargamel, the evil sorcerer. Gargamel offered him the possibility of turning into a human in exchange for his voice (this is not a plagiarism of “The little mermaid”).

So Gargamel put the little smurf in a toilet, shook his wand and pulled the chain and in a blink of an eye Astrosmurf appeared in Nagasaki on 9 of August of 1945, seconds before of the explosion caused by the atomic bomb, so what do you see is the picture of Astrosmurf trying to ask for help when he appeared in a theater and didn’t have a voice to be listened to.. Later the bomb fell and left the silhouette of the silent smurf.

And the lesson is: if you are a smurf, never believe in a dark wizard (:

The dreamers

It's was a movie directed by Bernardo Bertolucci in the 2003, based in the novel The Holy Innocents of Gilbert Aldair.
The movie was set in May of 68's at the students riots where a american university student (Matthew, performed by Michael Pitt) meets two singulars brothers (Isabelle and Theo, performed by Eva Green and Louis Garrel respectively) who love the classical cinema; they become friends and Matthew notice the dependency relation between the brothers, that according they, they were siamese.
After sharing with them, Matthew fell in love of both, and they end up involved in a relation that mixed sex, politics and the taste of movies.
Why I love this film?, because I consider so interesting the reference of classical cinema; the sweeping plot, that struck and move you; how the characters played their role in the movie, and the ending that leave you with a lump in your throat.
I can only talk about this film referring to visual pleasure, every scene had a “magic” inside it like the moment when Isabelle recreates the Venus de Milo (in the photograph).
A good movie to see, that I always recommend. Enjoy it.

Merton

Well, I have to talk about somebody that I admire [about my "field" that is to say sociology (although I don’t even finish the first year in the university)]... but I consider that I don't know enough to talk about somebody; I need to read, study, mature and reflect more to choose somebody proper and strong arguments.
But I have to write this post and I am going to talk about Robert King Merton because my father on last Christmas gave me a book; the book’s name was “Social Theory and Social Structure” written by Merton. That was my first reading of sociological theory and this book help me at the subject of anthropology about functionalism and structuralism.
Robert Merton was an American sociologist that spends the most of his career teaching at Columbia University; father of the theory of manifest and latent function and the theories of middle range and he was recognized for study the sociology of science. He died at 92 years in 2003.
Some books that he wrote was
§ Social Theory and Social Structure
§ The Sociology of Science
§ Sociological Ambivalence
§ On the Shoulders of Giants: A Shandean Postscript
§ On Social Structure and Science

A photograph

Well, I have to show my favorite picture, but I don’t have anyone that be so special for me and when I saw it I cry because of the memories that the picture brings to me, no, this thing doesn’t happen to me…
But I have this picture that shows my best friend and me doing what I love more than everything: sleep, and not only sleep; sleep in class.
I must say who took the picture, but there is one problem: I was sleeping and with my eyes closed, it’s difficult to see who took the picture, but I remember (and facebook says it) that it was taken in math class last year.
And to fill all the space I will describe you what the picture show (only because I think that you can read in English and not recognize what is in the photograph)…
Well I can see my pencil case, my cell, a table, a chair, a notebook, my best friend (smiling), me sleeping, and another friend doing something that I don’t understand.... and that's all, enjoy it.

Random Theme

Hi!, well now I have to talk about nothing in particular so I decided to write about things that I like and things that I dislike. For example I love the silence (but only when I'm alone), to have my space and fell that I have time enough to realize my things (including sleep) but is not always the case… I like reptiles (I think that they are so interesting), to walk, to dream, to getting high, smoke, to drink tea, to burn incense; the smell of nail polish remover, gasoline, apples, perfume and more things but the list will be endless…
Now I’m studying (or that I suppose to do) while I’m see tumblr and facebook … I hate the feeling that tomorrow I have to study a lot and sleep less. I know that I can resolve that if I organize myself but I can't get over the drowsiness.
I hate a lot of things but I hate most the noisy people and stupid people. I think that I have patience, but when I have to put somebody in his place, I have no trouble in doing it. I hate moths (I have a phobia about it), roaches and flies. I think that I will never change my mind about how I feel about them, they are disgusting; but in general is too difficult to change your opinion of something that you dislike.
Now is late and I have to study psychology and do the homework of history… I’m satisfied doing one of both.

My favorite piece of technology....

Hi everyone, I’ve to talk about my favorite piece of technology, but I don’t like technology… I think that all the new things are more difficult to use and more expensive and more disposable (even if they contaminate less than before, the lot of thing that the industry produces make more pollution). And to refer to my “favorite object” I’m gonna talk about my notebook.
It’s an Acer Aspire that was bought two years ago because my PC was spoil and I need it to make works and … chat with friends, download music, waste time, etc.
His battery last less than an hour, and it was formatted two times… Now it’s works well, but the keyboard doesn’t properly.
I don’t like it at all but I use it every day, so it’s make a love-hate relationship: I need to use it to study, talk with my friends, inform myself, work,  make procedures and waste a lot of time, listen to music, waste time, download programs, waste time, stay on facebook (waste time), etc, etc, etc.
If I didn’t have it… well, I sleep more hours, do productive things and study more (a notebook it’s like a doubled-edged sword)
And that’s all, I’m gonna publish now because I have fear that this thing delete my work :C

Miami Horror

Hi! well for this homework I have to talk about my favorite band, but the problem is that I haven't a favorite band, because.... how can I explain.... I like different genres of music and I listen a genre in particular according to my feelings; so now I'm gonna talk about Miami Horror, a indietronic/electropop band.
They were born in 2007 in Melbourne, Australia leaded by Benjamin Plant and starting with remixes and playing with others bands of Australia. The next year, they present their first EP called Bravado and they start to be invited to festivals and their career started to rise.
And the question now is why I like them... well I like the influence that they have of the 70's - 80's; and their musical videos are awesome (I love the aesthetic and some of their videos have, of my point of view, achievements in photography, style, and the music that they play.).
My favorite song of them is Sometimes of their album Illumination, and my favorite video is Echoplex. These songs relax me a lot...
And now the video of Echoplex...

Me (?)

yeah, I'm Nelson .... hi
I have to talk about myself, so.... let's go:

I was born in Antofagasta (yeah, the city in the north that have a lot of blacks ducks (a plague) that crap in the trees that survive of the weather, the animals, the humans and the city; that have a mall [smaller that the others but pretty], and some beaches where the people usually go at night), on December, 14 of 93'.
Since I was three, I don't eat meat, nor fish, pork, sausage, ham, eggs, chicken, etc etc etc. Why?, I don't know the exactly cause, but I know that I don't like the texture, smell nor flavor of that.
When I was in Antofa, I lived with my mother, my sister, my grandma and my dogs, cats o any pet that lived in my house; I saw my dad twice a week and holidays, because he works on Chuqui... I study in a school that I didn't like, but I met a lot of friend and ..people that I don't like to see anymore (like every place that do you go). Then I move to Santiago to study sociology, where I rent a room near here. The landlady is noisy, but charming (if you don't see her all the day), and has a dog that is like her but worst: noisy...very very noisy, annoying, pee everywhere and has a serious case of halitosis... but although all, I'm happy, because somehow, it's what I want and (like when you enter in a webcite) I accept the terms and conditions of what a choose.

PD: this is the second time that a write this.... why? do you ask... because the technology doesn't like me, and I'm a little oldman when I'm front to a PC, a mobile phone or anything that it's created on this time.
